  1. The piston is placed inside the cartridge.
  2. The outer plunger presses the piston down.
  3. The piston is pressed into the medium until all the air is ventilated. The preassembled plug is pressed down by the inner plunger, while the outer plunger is relieved.
  4. The plug is completely pressed in.
  5. The entire plunger is removed, the piston is mounted.
  6. Force fitting device used for testing purposes; operation, e.g. force and speed used, depends on several factors.
