MP_X-grid_mixers

The X-Grid™ technology from Sulzer MIXPAC™ provides excellent mixing performance for challenging dispensing applications. Thanks to its geometry, mixing of 2-component adhesives with high densities or viscosity ratios is possible while unmixed zones are avoided.

MPP_mixers

The MPP plastic disposable static mixer is available in a 9.4mm diameter in 50% glass filled Nylon PA66 (black elemtents) and Polypropylene construction (orange/white elements). The MPP is used for difficult meter-mix-dispense applications. Standard plastic housings are available with 20 mixing elements. Also available are special high pressure plastic housings that hold 6 mixing elements with a maximum operating pressure of 100 bar. These plastic housings can be connected in series via ring fittings M18 x 1.5mm.

MPH_mixers

The MPH disposable mixer is based on the established X-Grid mixing geometry and is available with 8, 12, 13 or 16 mixing elements. The mixing elements can also be installed inside of metal pipes with an inside diameter of 12mm. This X-grid mixer type is ideally suited for difficult-to-mix resin / hardener systems, e.g. 2K adhesives, epoxy, polyurethanes, silicones, resins or varnishes, as well as for media with larger viscosity and density ratios. The dispersing effect of insoluble medias is significantly higher.

MPF_small_mixers

The basic MPF part consists of 8-rings, which are hinged. Each ring contains a part of the mixer grid structure. By folding the 8 rings together, a 2-mixing element structure is created (8 rings = 1 mixing element). MPF mixing elements are fitted into a housing made of PP with standard bell connection and stepped tip. These disposable mixers are available in several standard lengths. MPF mixing elements are also available in loose form for fitting into steel pipes and tubes for high pressure applications.

MPF_big_mixers

The MPF 21 plastic disposable static mixer is available in a large diameter of 21mm in a plastic housing with 9, 12 or 15 mixing elements. These large diameter units can be connected with standard bell connections, flanges, 3/4″ pipe thread at the inlet.
